DATA STORAGE CORPORATION MOVES AHEAD IN BACKUP SERVICE PROVIDER MARKET WITH BOOSTS FROM EXANET AND ASIGRA

Data Storage Corporation Moves Ahead in Backup Service Provider Market with Boosts from Exanet and Asigra Toronto, Canada and Herzliya, Israel – June 26, 2006 – Exanet, the company that sets the bar for high-end, high-performance network attached storage (NAS), and Asigra™, the technology specialists in agentless remote backup and recovery software, today announced that Data Storage Corp., a leading-edge, offsite data vaulting service bureau, has selected their respective software technologies as the cornerstone of an infrastructure upgrade in support of DSC’s market-leading services.

DSC selected Asigra Televaulting™ offsite backup software and Exanet’s ExaStore™ clustered NAS solution as the key software platforms for its full range of backup, vaulting and compliance services. DSC is currently in the process of phasing in Asigra Televaulting for both its direct users and its network of more than 100 channel partners. Data Storage Corporation has deployed ExaStore clusters at its data center in the New York area and at its southeast U.S. data center, with data mirrored between the sites over a WAN using Exanet’s advanced mirroring technology.

The Exanet/Asigra partnership integrates two highly complementary technologies that when combined, produce a unique and flexible solution. The joining of ExaStore and Televaulting, two best-of-breed clustered products, enables DSC to achieve higher performance and improved price points for their clients. According to Gino Civale, Vice President of Business Development at DSC, Asigra and Exanet offer a common set of benefits: services that are simple to deploy and manage, with no scalability limitations.

“We try to match the customer’s requirements to the best software platform we have, and with Asigra we now have unlimited scalability that was not available with other products. Asigra is a mature product and agentless, so it allows you to grow in a much simpler way,” said Civale. “I was impressed by the fact that whatever requirements I threw at Asigra they had an answer for, and with how easy it was compared to other systems.”

DSC was similarly won over by the unlimited scalability of the ExaStore clustered NAS platform and the simplicity of implementation. The ExaStore system was installed in place of a prior solution from EMC, said Civale. “Unlike the EMC system, we were able to have the ExaStore system up and running and pass the trial tests in 60 days,” said Civale. “The ExaStore performance continues to be excellent.”

“Scalability is a paramount issue for all backup service providers, and DSC was quick to recognize the value of Asigra’s no-limitation and agentless architecture,” said Eran Farajun, Executive Vice President of Asigra. “Asigra Televaulting provides DSC with a remote backup platform that can be scaled quickly, easily and reliably, creating increased revenue and enhanced customer satisfaction.”

“The benefits of unlimited scalability and the clustered high-availability architecture of ExaStore are ideally suited for companies such as Data Storage Corp.,” said Rami Schwartz, Exanet CEO. “We believe that Exanet will continue to be a key enabler of storage service provider solutions in this rapidly growing market.”

DATA STORAGE CORPORATION SETS A NEW BENCHMARK AND EARNS ISO CERTIFICATION

New York, NY, November 7, 2005 - Data Storage Corporation (www.dscorp.net) has received certification under the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2000 for both its corporate organization and the Network Operations Center. Data Storage is one of the first in the field of on line data backup and disaster recovery whose processes and procedures have been evaluated and awarded ISO 9001:2000.

"We made a commitment to achieve ISO certification, and are proud to be recognized for our efforts", said Charles Piluso, President and Chief Executive Officer of Data Storage Corporation. "This is an outstanding symbol of the kind of quality and reliability we strive to deliver to each of our customers and Channel Partners.”

The International Organization for Standardization, or ISO, is a network of national standards institutes of some 140 countries. This initial certification marks the first completion of an aggressive internal audits campaign to establish, maintain and verify compliance with the stringent ISO standards.

Data Storage Corporation began working towards corporate organization certification during early October 2004, when responsibilities were assigned, a timeline established and written procedures developed by the team of Gino Civale, V.P. Business Development and Kerri Zezulinski, Client Relations Manager. International Management Systems Marketing, known for its work as an ISO "coach,” assisted Data Storage Corporation in the process of meeting the rigorous requirements.

ISO 9001 has become an international reference for quality requirements in business-to-business dealings, specifically in management systems. It is arguably the most important quality management standard in use today. In any organization, it controls quality and brings clear financial benefits. It also gives customers a high degree of confidence and assists in keeping the organization ahead of its competitors.

POWER OUTAGE NO PROBLEM FOR “OFF-SITE” DATA STORAGE CORPORATION CLIENTS

Westbury, NY . . . August 18, 2003 . . .Twenty miles from corporate offices at One Penn Plaza, Data Storage Corporation’s generators automatically turned on at the company’s Westbury-based secure site when the “Great 2003 Power Outage” hit the North East Coast on Thursday afternoon, August 14th. Charles M. Piluso, Data Storage Corporation CEO and President sat in comfort knowing that his customers’ information was well backed up off site as planned. “This major power outage presented no challenge to our service. With our clients, we were able to breathe easy watching the system do just what it was expected to do - back up our clients’ information on schedule. If they had the power to create the information, we were able to back it up,” said Mr. Piluso.

“Our clients were contacted immediately upon receiving word of the power outage to see if they needed additional storage space or wanted remote access to their information. We reminded our clients that they were able to access their information wherever they were - at home, at their branch office, or across the country. Data Storage Corporation’s clients were well served during this crisis,” said Mr. Piluso. Data Storage Corporation’s system works within a wide variety of platform agents including Microsoft Windows XP, NT, NT Server, Windows 2000, Novell NetWare, Sun Solaris, Linux (Red Hat), HP-UX and IBM AIX. These agents can be activated through Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, OFM and OTM for all other open files. Installation set-up is typically under one hour.

Data Storage Corporation Launches E-data-SOS* Worldwide Distributorships at Channel Partners Conference & Expo, Washington, D.C. Sept. 10-12th

Westbury, NY . . . September 10, 2001-2006. . . Charles M. Piluso, CEO, Data Storage Corporation announced the launch of worldwide distributorships for E-data-SOS* at the Channel Partners Conference & Expo in Washington D.C..  Data Storage Corporation’s E-data-SOS* answers the need for on and off-site data backup, recovery, storage and access and disaster prevention by providing customers with access to data storage systems via the power of the internet.  Distributors are being recruited to network and offer small to mid size business access to data storage benefits.  (Editor note:  SOS* = Secure Online Storage)

“Becoming an Data Storage Corporation distributor is simple and profitable,” said Mr. Piluso.  “The trend toward off site data storage is significant; growing from $11 million in 1999 to $5.3 billion in 2003.  This is an exciting opportunity.   “The market is ripe,” Mr. Piluso continued.  In today’s environment, companies with less than 50 GB of data storage requirements are not yet using off site data storage.  Rather, they are using internal hard drives or on-site tape back-ups and are dependent upon internal, non-technical staff to protect their information.  These companies realize that they are vulnerable and are excellent prospects for Data Storage Corporation.  “What we are really offering is disaster prevention,” he continued.

Data Storage Corporation’s new facility in Westbury, New York is protected by FM200 gas for fire protection, generator back up power and Libert air conditioning.  In addition, our facility has redundant fiber optics with the public utility, Verizon, and MCI WorldCom.  We are positioned with the best in class for both the data storage technology and within our facility.

E-data-SOS* is an internet-accessible off-site data storage and disaster prevention service of Data Service Corporation.  This press release contains forward-looking statements. Any such statements are subject to risks and uncertainties and could cause actual results to vary materially from those indicated. Actual results could differ due to a number of factors, including negative developments relating to unforeseen order cancellations or push-outs, the Company’s strategic relationships, the impact of intense competition, and changes in our industry.
